Women’s entrepreneurship in rural and island areas and outermost regions
This own-initiative report concerns women's entrepreneurship in rural and island areas and outermost regions. The amendments cite Treaty provisions on subsidiarity, proportionality and shared competences, and the common agricultural policy, and address barriers women face in farming and entrepreneurship, including access to land, social security, underrepresentation in farm ownership and management, isolation, ageing populations, and reconciling work with childcare.
