Summary

This own-initiative report concerns European technological sovereignty and digital infrastructure. The amendments address cloud certification (EUCS), telecoms networks and the proposed digital networks act, 5G, 6G and fibre roll-out, AI gigafactories, a European digital stack, interoperability and standards, screening of foreign direct investment, venture capital and private investment, and reducing dependencies including on critical materials and earth minerals.
