2023 and 2024 Commission reports on Montenegro
This own-initiative report concerns the 2023 and 2024 Commission reports on Montenegro. Amendments cite the Istanbul Convention and the World Press Freedom Index, and revise recitals on judging each candidate against the Copenhagen criteria and 'fundamentals', Montenegro having opened all 33 acquis chapters, the EU as its biggest trading partner and investor, and foreign malign influence and disinformation linked to Russia and China.
