Summary

The dossier is the European Semester for economic policy coordination 2026. Amendments debate the Semester's role in coordinating economic and budgetary policies, national and regional partnership plans, the Recovery and Resilience Facility and NextGenerationEU, TFEU deficit and debt reference values, the macroeconomic imbalance procedure, investment needs cited against the Draghi report and the ReArm Europe/Readiness 2030 plan, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine.
