## What the amendments focus on

This dossier concerns the Waste Framework Directive. Amendments revise provisions on integrating the rules on waste oils, end-of-waste criteria and the procedure for deciding when waste ceases to be waste, exclusions for hazardous waste and waste intended for energy recovery, extended producer responsibility, waste prevention and product design, re-use and recycling including separate collection schemes, and the waste hierarchy.
