## What the amendments focus on

Proposed regulation on food additives. Amendments revise provisions on the conditions and criteria for including additives in the Community lists in the annexes, re-evaluation in light of new scientific information, changes in production methods or starting materials, additives produced from or falling within the scope of the regulation on genetically modified food and feed, exclusions, and a labelling warning that azo dyes may provoke allergenic effects and hyperactivity in children.
