## What the amendments focus on

This recast establishes the European Training Foundation. The amendments address the Foundation's objective of contributing to human resources development through education and training in EU external relations policy, analysis of national and local labour markets, standardisation of competences in life-long learning, cooperation with the Commission and Cedefop, the composition and voting of the Governing Board including Member States, the European Parliament, the Commission and partner countries, and the Director's appointment.
