## What the amendments focus on

A proposal on conditions for access to the natural gas transmission networks (Third energy package). Amendments address non-discriminatory network access and regulatory supervision, cross-border interconnection capacity and isolated markets, the internal gas market and level playing field, transparency on supply, demand and capacity, market abuse, access to storage and LNG facilities, consultation of market participants, and the role of transmission system operators; some provisions are deleted.
