## What the amendments focus on

Legislative dossier on the type-approval of hydrogen-powered motor vehicles. The amendments address the use of pure hydrogen produced as far as possible from renewable energy and mixtures of hydrogen and natural gas or biomethane as a transitional fuel, standardised filling-station infrastructure, the CARS 21 final report on international harmonisation, identification of vehicles for rescue services, requirements for hydrogen components and systems, and L-category vehicles as early adopters.
