## What the amendments focus on

Legislative dossier on a single application procedure for a single permit for third-country nationals to reside and work, with a common set of rights. The amendments address equal treatment of third-country workers regarding working conditions, pay, dismissal, social security and recognition of professional qualifications, the exclusion of posted workers, the definition of 'third-country worker', and Member States' competence to organise social security schemes.
