# Green Paper on the role of civil society in drugs policy in the EU

## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative report concerns the Green Paper on the role of civil society in drugs policy in the EU. Amendments stress dialogue with civil society at national, regional and local level in formulating, implementing and assessing drug policies, drawing on grass-roots experience in prevention, information, rehabilitation and social reintegration, and discuss the Civil Society Drugs Forum and the transparency of selecting participants, and the EU 2005-2012 drugs strategy.
