# White Paper on sport

## What the amendments focus on

An own-initiative report on the Commission's White Paper on sport. The amendments address the economic and macro-economic dimension of sport and the Lisbon objectives of growth and jobs, the application of EU competition and free-movement rules and Court of Justice case-law to professional sport, intellectual property and media rights, funding for grassroots and non-profit sport, and access to sport broadcasts and tickets.
