## What the amendments focus on

The dossier is the Renewable Energy Directive on promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources. The amendments revise the mandatory trajectory and its share targets, add normalisation rules for electricity from wind and hydropower, develop certification and training schemes for installers of biomass, heat pumps, geothermal and solar systems, and rework verification of sustainability criteria for biomass, biofuels and other bioliquids.
