## What the amendments focus on

This dossier concerns vocational education and training: the European Credit system (ECVET). The amendments address the recognition, transfer and accumulation of citizens' learning outcomes to facilitate trans-national mobility and lifelong learning, the voluntary nature of ECVET and subsidiarity, its application across EQF levels and in formal, non-formal and informal contexts, partnerships and networks of VET providers and stakeholders, and monitoring and reporting to Parliament and the Council.
