# Construction products: harmonised conditions for the marketing

## What the amendments focus on

This legislative proposal lays down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products. The amendments revise rules on the declaration of performance and CE marking, the essential characteristics of products under harmonised standards and technical specifications, the obligations of manufacturers and the position of contractors, and add provisions on hazardous substances, re-use and recycling, Environmental Product Declarations, and derogations for custom-made, non-series and heritage-conservation products.
