## What the amendments focus on

Proposed regulation on marketing standards for poultrymeat under the common organisation of agricultural markets. Amendments include a call to reject the Commission proposal, retain the cold-treatment definition of poultrymeat opposing chemical sterilisation, define 'fresh poultrymeat' by temperature and slaughter-date limits, require labelling of slaughter date and EU origin, and add compulsory information on added animal-origin ingredients, added water and price per kilogram on drained net weight.
