## What the amendments focus on

An own-initiative report on aligning legal acts to the new Comitology Decision. The amendments concern delegating to the Commission the development of non-essential and technical aspects of legislation, the concept of 'quasi-legislative' measures and the regulatory procedure with scrutiny giving Parliament control, the prospective alignment of the acquis to Article 290 TFEU on delegated acts if the Lisbon Treaty enters into force, and additional resources for Parliament's comitology work.
