## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative report on e-justice. Amendments address a single European e-justice portal with differentiated access for citizens, legal professionals, the judiciary and civil servants, fragmentation from bilateral projects, an Action Plan on e-justice, linking of national registers, the use of videoconferencing for taking evidence in cross-border cases, judicial training and a European judicial culture, and respect for fundamental rights, procedural safeguards and data protection.
