## What the amendments focus on

This dossier is a report on the Lamfalussy follow-up and the future structure of supervision. The amendments propose configuring EU supervision through the Lamfalussy Level 3 committees, a presidium acting as mediator and manager of colleges of supervisors for large cross-border groups, complaint and appeal procedures, and reference the financial crisis triggered by US subprime mortgages, pan-European banks, and the need to review existing financial market regulation and supervision.
