## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative report addresses consolidating stability and prosperity in the Western Balkans. Amendments stress the EU membership prospect as a driver of reform and stability, the Copenhagen criteria and the Stabilisation and Association process. They address the legacy of the 1990s wars, good neighbourly relations and bilateral disputes, regional cooperation, visa liberalisation and candidate status, citing the Thessaloniki Agenda and the Salzburg Declaration.
