## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative report concerns mental health. Amendments frame mental health and well-being as central to quality of life, document the prevalence of mental disorders and suicide, the higher rates among vulnerable and marginalised groups including migrants, detainees and the unemployed, and the financial cost to society, and call for prevention, combating stigma and social exclusion, supported community living and the European Pact on Mental Health and Well-Being.
