# Action plan on urban mobility

## What the amendments focus on

The dossier concerns the action plan on urban mobility. Amendments stress subsidiarity and the role of local authorities, call for integrated sustainable urban mobility and travel plans in larger conurbations, promote modal shift, intelligent transport systems and reductions in CO2, air-pollution and noise emissions, and propose making EU co-financing conditional on such plans rather than imposing top-down solutions.
