## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative report on the social economy. Amendments rework recitals on the social economy's role in the European social model, social inclusion and job creation, its forms such as cooperatives, mutual societies, associations and foundations, the need for recognition of European statutes and a secure legal framework, its institutional invisibility, and its place in the internal market and competition rules.
