## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative report concerns the EU-Brazil strategic partnership. Amendments address the partnership launched at the EU-Brazil Summits and its Joint Action Plan, cooperation on trade and the WTO, the Millennium Development Goals and poverty, human rights and slave labour, renewable energy and biofuels, deforestation, nuclear research and the ITER project, and a structured dialogue between the European Parliament and Brazil's National Congress.
