# EU-Mexico strategic partnership

## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative report concerns the EU-Mexico strategic partnership. The amendments address the human rights and democracy clause as an integral part of the Association Agreement, institutionalising annual EU-Mexico summits, the EU-Mexico Global Agreement, cooperation against drug trafficking and organised crime, the fight against feminicide and for women's rights, the inclusion of civil society organisations, immigration, climate change, and cooperation in international fora such as the UN, IMF, OECD and G20.
