## What the amendments focus on

Legislative dossier on reporting formalities for ships arriving in and departing from Member States' ports. The amendments aim to simplify and harmonise FAL Convention requirements through electronic data transmission via SafeSeaNet, e-Customs and a single electronic platform, taking account of IMO requirements, protecting personal and commercial confidential data, addressing language rules including the use of English, Pilotage Exemption Certificates, the European Maritime Safety Agency and delegated acts.
