## What the amendments focus on

This codecision dossier concerns textile products, textile fibre names and labelling. The amendments address methods for sampling and analysis of fibre composition, procedures for adding new fibre names, durable and legible labelling and marking, indication of the country of origin, mandatory labelling of non-textile parts of animal origin, a study on hazardous substances and possible links to allergic reactions, and a Commission review of further labelling requirements.
