## What the amendments focus on

This codecision dossier concerns the financing instrument for the promotion of democracy and human rights worldwide under external actions. The amendments revise Regulation (EC) No 1889/2006 to require actions to be in line with international law and empower the Commission to adopt delegated acts in respect of strategy papers under Article 290 of the Treaty, setting out the exercise, revocation of and objections to that delegation.
