## What the amendments focus on

An own-initiative resolution on the 2010 budget guidelines for Section III, Commission. Amendments address the Multiannual Financial Framework ceilings, weak budget implementation and 'restes à liquider', flexibility between headings, the European Economic Recovery Plan and the financial and economic crisis, support for SMEs through the CIP and EIB, decentralised agencies, the Erasmus programmes, and communication policy.
