## What the amendments focus on

An own-initiative report on the action plan on organ donation and transplantation (2009-2015) and strengthened cooperation between Member States. The amendments call for voluntary, unpaid and altruistic donation, measures to increase deceased and living donors such as donor registers and transplant coordinators, protection of living donors, traceability and trust, and combating organ trafficking, transplant tourism and trafficking in persons through cooperation including Interpol, Europol and the WHO.
