## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative report on the Green Paper on reform of the common fisheries policy (CFP). The amendments stress support for small-scale coastal and non-industrial fisheries, cooperation between fishermen and researchers, the situation of the outermost regions and island regions, historic fishing rights and relative stability, conservation of stocks and maximum sustainable yield, and training for fishermen.
