## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative report concerns the Union for the Mediterranean. Amendments revise recitals on Euro-Mediterranean relations building on the Barcelona Process, the European Neighbourhood Policy and its limits, the goals of peace, security, prosperity and reducing poverty in the region, migration cooperation, and Mediterranean countries' developing ties with partners such as Russia, China, Brazil and the Gulf states.
