## What the amendments focus on

The dossier concerns the future for social services of general interest. Amendments call on the Commission to strengthen legal certainty for these services, clarify EU rules on State aid, the de minimis regulation and notification exemptions, and address entrustment and overcompensation while respecting Member States and local authorities; one amendment rejects EU framework legislation, and others reference Article 14 TFEU, Protocol 26, the Monti-Kroes package and competitive tendering.
