## What the amendments focus on

The dossier addresses fair revenues for farmers and a better functioning food supply chain in Europe. Amendments target the imbalance of bargaining power between producers, processors, retailers and supermarket chains, call for price monitoring tools, voluntary codes of good commercial practice, a food retail Ombudsman, stronger producer organisations and cooperatives, transparency in price formation, and measures on market penetration and unfair commercial practices.
