# Establishment of a joint EU resettlement programme

## What the amendments focus on

An own-initiative report on the establishment of a joint EU resettlement programme. The amendments address a durable solution for refugees within a Common European Asylum System, solidarity between Member States and with third countries, the role of the UNHCR and the European Asylum Support Office, financial assistance and a dedicated fund, integration including access to education and employment, cooperation with NGOs and municipalities, and intra-EU resettlement.
