## What the amendments focus on

This 'six-pack' regulation concerns the prevention and correction of macroeconomic imbalances. Amendments revise recitals on economic policy coordination, the European Semester, the Stability and Growth Pact and the Europe 2020 strategy, and would have surveillance consider internal imbalances such as private and public debt, wage-productivity links and the euro-area debt crisis.
