## What the amendments focus on

A legislative procedure on organic farming, organic production and labelling of products. The amendments concern aligning the framework with the Treaty of Lisbon and simplifying legislation, empowering the Commission to adopt implementing and delegated acts (on code numbers, indication of origin and control rules), measures against GMOs and a vendor declaration, an organic production logo distinguishing EU and non-EU products, and withdrawal of recognition of control bodies and third countries.
