## What the amendments focus on

This dossier sets guidelines for the 2011 budget, other sections. Amendments address the Heading 5 expenditure ceiling and Parliament's self-imposed 20% threshold, the financial impact of implementing the Lisbon Treaty, interinstitutional cooperation and savings, multilingualism and Members' working conditions, evaluation of staff and assistance allowances and travel reimbursements, a medium- and long-term buildings strategy across the three places of work, and zero-based, transparent budget planning.
