## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative report on the role of minimum income in combating poverty and promoting an inclusive society in Europe. Amendments address the multidimensional nature of poverty and social exclusion, minimum and guaranteed basic income schemes, social protection systems and structural funds, the Europe 2020 poverty target, and the heightened risk of poverty for women, children, elderly people and the working poor, citing ILO conventions and the Charter of Fundamental Rights.
