## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative report on the interconnection of business registers. Amendments call for improved cross-border access to company information for transparency and legal certainty in the internal market, reference the European Business Register, the BRITE project, the Internal Market Information System and the e-Justice portal, debate mandatory participation of all Member States, data quality and protection, and a single access point in all EU languages supervised by the Commission.
