## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative report on international trade policy in the context of climate-change imperatives. Amendments reference global warming and limiting it below 2°C, the Copenhagen and Cancun climate summits and legally binding agreements, EU greenhouse-gas reduction targets, the role of trade and the WTO in disseminating green technologies, technology transfer and intellectual property rights, the common commercial policy under Article 207 TFEU, border adjustment measures and agrifuel sustainability criteria.
