## What the amendments focus on

The dossier concerns innovative financing at a global and European level. Amendments centre on a financial transaction tax (at rates such as 0.05% or 0.01%) and other innovative financing mechanisms to fund the Millennium Development Goals and climate measures, public supervision and transparency, the role of the G20, ODA and tax administration, illicit capital flows from developing countries, and initiatives such as UNITAID and the International Finance Facility for Immunisation.
