# Current and future management of Black Sea fisheries

## What the amendments focus on

This is an own-initiative report on the current and future management of Black Sea fisheries. The amendments call for a sustainable fisheries sector and coordinated scientific research, a structured regional management framework, monitoring, control and surveillance, cooperation with non-EU littoral states bordering the Black Sea, a possible regional fisheries management organisation, the Common Fisheries Policy, and a review of annual TACs and quotas.
