## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative report on women and business leadership. Amendments cite the European Pact for Gender Equality and a Council recommendation on balanced participation, and address women's access to senior corporate management, the gender pay gap, university qualifications awarded to women, stereotypes and division of labour in the family, the correlation between women's representation and company performance, child-care facilities and binding quotas for equal representation in firms' decision-making.
