## What the amendments focus on

An own-initiative report on a new trade policy for Europe under the Europe 2020 strategy. The amendments stress policy coherence for development, the Millennium Development Goals, support for developing and least developed countries, the Doha Round and WTO, Economic Partnership Agreements and Aid for Trade, technology transfer and environmental clauses, caution on the 'Singapore issues' and investment liberalisation, and raw-materials export restrictions.
