## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative report on aviation security with a focus on security scanners. Amendments compare passive and active millimetre-wave imaging and backscatter X-ray technologies on grounds of health, ionising radiation, privacy and integrity, call for impact assessments, and seek special treatment or exemptions for pregnant women, children and persons with implanted medical devices.
