## What the amendments focus on

A decision on the 2009 discharge for the performance, financial management and control of the agencies. The amendments address carryovers and cancellations of appropriations, cash forecasting, recruitment and conflicts of interest, 'cooling-off periods' and staff rotation between agencies, sensitive tasks assigned to interim staff, internal audit and the role of the IAS, key performance indicators, multiannual work programmes and the Interinstitutional Working Group on Agencies.
