## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative dossier on women's entrepreneurship in small and medium-sized enterprises. Citing Commission reports on childcare and women innovators, an insolvency regulation and a directive on equal treatment in self-employment, amendments address inadequate access to child and elderly care, work-life balance, sharing of family and domestic responsibilities including parental and paternity leave, gender stereotypes and structural barriers, and the flexibility of self-employment for combining work and care.
