# Future of EU budget support to developing countries

## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative report concerns the future of EU budget support to developing countries. The amendments stress poverty reduction and the Millennium Development Goals, transparent and accountable budgetary management to fight corruption, ownership by recipient governments and parliaments, delegated acts under Article 290 TFEU to set eligibility criteria, policy coherence for development across EU trade and agriculture policies, the 0.7% of GDP target, and the role of the Court of Auditors.
