# EU and China: unbalanced trade?

## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative report concerns EU and China unbalanced trade. The amendments address China's economic growth and poverty reduction, the EU trade deficit with China, market access, WTO commitments, human rights and forced and child labour, and China's role as a development and finance actor in Africa — including Special Economic Zones, export credit and concessional loans through China Eximbank, governance and environmental standards, and comparison with OECD rules.
